When attending a convention, nothing beats meeting a good guest! This is a list of all the upcoming Power Ranger guests due to visit the UK Convention scene throughout 2019.
Toku Toy Store is happy to supply a list of all the guests attending conventions here in the UK, through 2019. Since we tend to go where the Ranger guests are, Toku Toy Store is also at the majority of these conventions. The list will be updated as more actors are announced.
Em-Con Worcester, September 14th, will be playing host to David Yost.
David Yost was born on January 7th, 1969 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, USA as David Harold Yost. He is an actor and producer, known for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993), Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995) and Power Rangers Zeo (1996).
On Saturday 28th September, CovCon in Coventry will be hosting Nic Sampson, Mystic Force Yellow.
Nic Sampson is a comedian, actor, and writer originally from Wellington, New Zealand. Since starring in Power Rangers Mystic Force in 2006 he has worked extensively across New Zealand film and television.
Nic is a founding member of award winning New Zealand improv comedy collective ‘Snort’. Like any white male comedian Nic also hosts several podcasts including movie podcast ‘Walk Out Boys’ and dungeons & dragons podcast ‘Waterdeep Mountain High’.
Nic now lives and works in London, with a focus on comedy.
Comic Con Scotland, 12th & 13th October, will be hosting Jason David Frank’s second British convention appearance for the year. He will also be appearing at MCM London on the 25th-27th October for his third appearance this year.
Jason David Frank is well-known for his role of Tommy Oliver in Power Rangers. He is the voice of Emissary in Transformers: Titans Returns and brings Bloodshot to life in the highly-anticipated project Ninjak vs.the Valiant Universe. Always one looking for adventure, Jason shares his exciting life in the extremely popular series My Morphin Life, which is now in its fourth season.
Arguably the most popular and famous Power Ranger, Jason’s character was only intended to be in ten episodes. Due to his popularity, he was morphed into the most amount of different rangers in the show’s twenty-four year history. He began as the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger, a bad boy turned good, and subsequently morphed into the Mighty Morphin White Ranger, Red Zeo, Red Turbo, and then returned in 2004 as the Black Dino Thunder Ranger. He is best known for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993), Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995), Power Rangers Zeo (1996), Power Rangers Turbo (1997), Power Rangers Dino Thunder (2004) and Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel (2018).
Also appearing at MCM London on the 25th-27th October are Nakia Burrise and Catherine Sutherland.
Growing up in Stockton, CA, Nakia was introduced to musical theatre and performance in elementary school. She began performing acrobatics by the age of five and later ventured into theatre, musical theatre, dancing, singing, and modelling. While attending Edison High School in Stockton, California, Nakia auditioned for UCLA’s prestigious theatre department. She was the only African American female freshman accepted into the theatre department that year. By the time she was a junior at UCLA, her professional career had begun. She booked her first role as a series regular on Power Rangers, as Tanya Sloan, the yellow ranger; while simultaneously recording her first pop album with her singing group, Divine. She has played an array of characters in various television series, movies, animated series, and commercials.
In 2006 Nakia began producing her own projects. She co-wrote the comedy pilot, A Day in the Life. The project had great reviews. In 2009, she wrote, produced and starred in ,Crazy Daze, comedy series. The series received honourable mention in various TV/ film festivals. In 2012 Nakia launched Sovereignty Entertainment Inc. a production company dedicated to producing family friendly television, web series, and films. Nakia takes great pride, passion, and joy in producing, writing, and acting!
Catherine Sutherland was born in Sydney, New South Wales Australia in 1974. She was a model and actress in Sydney before being brought over to Los Angeles for the series, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993). Her interests include singing/songwriting, dancing, piano, horse riding, scuba diving, hiking, aerobics, weight training, Pilates, yoga and spinning. Catherine also does a voice-over as Mira in the Playstation game “Pitfall 3D: Beyond The Jungle”. Out of all the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Kat was a ranger for the least amount of time. Replaced Amy Jo Johnson on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993) in 1995.
Catherine was the only Ranger ever to use her real first name as her characters name. The only difference would be on the show her name’s spelled with a “K” whereas in real life it’s spelled with a “C”. Whilst her Ranger character Kat Hillard did leave during the Turbo Season of Power Rangers, she did return several times to do voices such as the morphed LightSpeed Pink Ranger, her Ranger suited descendant and the voice of a monster in the Power Rangers Special 10th Anniversary Episode, “Forever Red” where many Red Rangers gather together to fulfill a mission.
Last but by no means least, at Wales Comic Con Telford, December 7th & 8th, Bulk & Skull will be visiting again.

He is an actor and assistant director, known for having played the same character, Eugene ‘Skull’ Skullovitch, on seven different series: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993), Power Rangers Zeo (1996), Power Rangers Turbo (1997), Power Rangers in Space (1998), Power Rangers Lost Galaxy (1999), Power Rangers Wild Force (2002) and Power Rangers Samurai (2011).
Paul Schrier was born on June 1st, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA as Paul L. Schrier II. He is an actor and director, known for having played the same character, Farkas ‘Bulk’ Bulkmeier, on seven different series including: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993), Power Rangers Zeo (1996), Power Rangers Turbo (1997), Power Rangers in Space (1998), Power Rangers Lost Galaxy (1999), Power Rangers Wild Force (2002) and Power Rangers Samurai (2011).
