The initial toy catalogue images for the inaugural Kamen Rider of the Reiwa Era, Zero-One, have surfaced online.
Just like with past Kamen Riders, when they are initially revealed in catalogues, we have a silhouette of the Kamen Rider’s base form for their collectable figures line of toys, as well as a placeholder image for the Kamen Rider – in this case, Kamen Rider Zero-One. Toys are due to be released in August in Japan, and probably worldwide soon after. Also released are some rumours around what Kamen Rider Zero-One’s gimmick, and story, will be:
“The show’s collectable gimmick are called “Insect Chips”, which are said to resemble Nintendo DS cartridges. Said items will have an electricity/power source mark. In addition, the focus of the show is split into the main character, the enemy group, and another party. The enemy group has one leader, with 3 Generals making their debut first. They are trying to steal 3 pieces of treasure from another company.”
