Hello, tokusatsu community! It’s Joshua Perry here to talk about SODO figures on my fortnightly series, SODO Sundays. Today Saber finally has some news and YUDO Zenkaiger is here!
Kamen Rider Saber
Joining the lineup for Book 6 this April will be the living sword himself, Kamen Rider Saikou. Of course he isn’t just a sword as his shadow form will be getting a figure so he can actually be used. This shadow form has minimal stickers on the suit, just a couple on the helmet, arms, and belt strap.
That’s not it for Saikou though as his upgrade for XSwordMan is coming to Book 6 as well! As of right now though it’s yet to be seen how SODO will release the arm and leg armor options for XSwordMan Powerful and Wonderful.
Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger
Our new Super Sentai will be coming to YUDO! As we already knew from Amazon Japan listings Zenkaiger is releasing it’s first YUDO set in May. For a change of pace the main Zenkaiger figure line will also have figures that will be the same scale as YUDO and with paint. The Zenkaiser figure does appear to at least be based on the YUDO mold in his Change Hero Series release however in that figure line the other 4 members have to turn into their Mecha modes as well so YUDO has their Ranger modes look a little better overall.
ZenkaiZyuran, Gaon, and Vroon will all take 2 boxes to complete due their designs. Kaiser and Magine will just need one box each. Finally there will be an accessories box with all of their weapons except for the GearTlinger, which each figure will have from the start.
