Full details on the Kamen Rider Kuuga CSM Henshin Belt Arcle

As teased last month, the next entry into the Complete Selection Modification line is the Arcle Henshin Belt from Kamen Rider Kuuga. Premium Bandai has now revealed the full details for the set.

The Arcle itself has all of the sounds and lights it was expected to have. Mighty, Dragon, Pegasus, and Titan forms are all included.

Additional plates and pieces are included as well. First is a plate used for the Rising Forms and Amazing Mighty forms. Another plate is included for the Ultimate and Rising Ultimate Forms. Button caps are also included for the Ultimate Forms.

All of Kuuga’s forms are represented in this release. All 4 base forms, 4 Rising Forms, Amazing Mighty, Ultimate Form with both Red and Black Eyes, and Rising Ultimate with both Red and Black Eyes. Growing Form is also included to some capacity.

But with the Arcle being a pretty basic belt another accessory was added. A replica of the phone used in the show by Karou Ichijo! Ichijo’s actor has returned to record new voice lines in the phone as well.

It’s unknown if the belt itself features any voice clips from Yusuke Godai or Yusuke Onodera as CSMs usually do but there is BGM tracks from Kuuga in the belt.

This belt has already sold out its first wave and a second will release in April 2019. You can pre-order from Toku Toy Store here.

What do you think of this CSM Arcle? What would you like to see CSM cover next? Leave a comment down below!

SODO Sundays Season 2 – August 19th, 2018

Hello, tokusatsu community! It’s Joshua Perry here to talk about SODO figures on my fortnightly series, SODO Sundays. After a year of SODO updates it’s time to kick off Season 2 with the loose ends of Build and the beginning of Kamen Rider Zi-O!

Kamen Rider Build

Although Build ends next week and the final Premium Bandai set was already revealed, there are still a few more things up Bandai’s sleeve. First up is a hidden accessory for the Premium Bandai set in the form of the Build Driver with the Magma Knuckle and the Hazard Trigger in it from Build episode 48. Since that episode was not out at the time of the set reveal, they waited till now to show it off. So, if you already pre-ordered the final set this will be thrown in with it.

A Coming Soon image was also shown off. Could this be something related to the finale next week or something in a special post-show? Only time will tell.

Kamen Rider Zi-O

Speaking of time, the next Kamen Rider series is joining the SODO line! Kamen Rider Zi-O will be the third Rider series to have a SODO figure line and the first figure in Set 1 was revealed to be his base form.

Combining the distribution of an armour box and body box from the Ex-Aid line with the articulation and quality from the Build line Zi-O is trying to be the best of SODO line yet. Like other figures, Zi-O will come with a stand and sticker, which is the same stand they’ve used since Ex-Aid. He will also come with his Jikan Grade in sword mode. No gun mode for it yet but it will come eventually.

Zi-O will also follow in the footsteps of the Dai-SODO line right off the bat by including a set of swappable hands! He is shown using them for a passing of the torch moment from Build to him.

We are in for another year of SODO greatness with Zi-O on SODO Sundays Season 2!

As always you can watch the Season 2 premiere here:

SODO Sundays – August 5th, 2018

Hello, tokusatsu community! It’s Joshua Perry here to talk about SODO figures on my fortnightly series, SODO Sundays. This time we have a lot of news from Kamen Rider Build.

Kamen Rider Build

Build is ending soon and the SODO line has revealed the full contents of the final set, Set 12. The first figure was revealed last time as Great Cross-Z; the other user of the Great Cross-Z Dragon has been revealed as summer movie villain, Kamen Rider Blood. He has everything he needs which just happens to be a combination of many old suits, and a cape piece.

Also from Build’s summer movie is the new Cross-Z Build form. This form, which is a combination of Cross-Z and Build. This form features a skirt piece used before on figures like Black Hole Evol.

The final figure of Set 12 is the most recent form seen in the show, Grease Blizzard. He comes with the Blizzard Knuckle.

With that SODO Build Set 12 is complete.

But wait… a Premium Bandai set is on the way!

Earlier this year, the Dai-SODO set was released which featured better versions of Build and Cross-Z. This Premium Bandai includes new versions of Grease and Rogue.

In addition to more sticker detail compared to their previous versions, the eyes on the Grease figure have been redone to be more show accurate.

There are a ton of accessories in this set including better versions of the Twin Breakers. The set includes two so Grease can dual wield them like in the show.

A better version of the Steam Blade and Nebula SteamGun Rifle Mode are also included.

Grease and Rogue also come with extra hands.

Moving away from Grease and Rogue there are also a ton of extra accessories for other past SODO figures. First up is the big bat wings for both Night Rogue and Mad Rogue.

Two of the Evol chest plate.

The White Pandora panel, as well as two new Build Drivers, two empty ones for the forms that use the Knuckles, and another with the Genius Bottle and Hazard Trigger, are also in this set.

And with that the end of the Build SODO line. By the time the next episode of SODO Sundays drops we will have our first look at the Zi-O SODO figure, so get ready for another year of Kamen Rider SODO Figures!
